I have a MVV 3000 microscope camera which works perfectly on my Windows 7, but it doesn't work on my Windows 8 system. I tried several times to install the software from "Future WinJoe" without success. I copied the program's files from Windows 7 to my Windows 8 system, then ran WinJoe.exe directly from Windows Explorer. This way, I was able to make it run. However, I still can't use the camera. I have worked through Control Panel > Programs > Run Programs made for previous versions of Windows, which enabled me to populate video / camera properties, but the camera / video still won't work. Is there something that I can do to overcome this?

Even if you can run the program on your Windows 8 system, in order to use the camera on this one, you will need to download and install the appropriate drivers. It is stated on the following website, that the manufacturer of your device has released a version of the driver that is compatible with Windows 8. However, on the site mentioned, there isn't any reference for a download link. In this matter, you can contact the developer in order to obtain a download link for the driver.
The application is not available for downloading. On the official website, there are drivers available to download for their manufactured products. I have often this error message, when I plug the cam and execute the future Winjoe application, when trying to capture an image, the system returns this message: "A webcam is not found or is not working properly. Please click connect button and try again."

The first thing you have to do is to attach the camera to PC. Wait a few seconds for Windows to detect and initialize it, then go to Device Manager (Start > Run > devmgmt.msc). The camera should be listed under the Imaging category. Once the camera is detected, start the software with Administration rights and it should work normally.
The camera is working perfectly, but when trying to connect the camera within the software, WinJoe stops working.

The software has been updated to support the latest Windows version released by Microsoft. Also, you should reinstall the drivers for the camera because this could an error as well.
I can't get the Zoom button to work. It does nothing. Images are too big and won't zoom out. Can you help?

If the Zoom button is not working, you will need to remove the program from your computer (Control Panel > Uninstall a program) and then install it again. This should fix it. If you still have problems, try contacting the support team using [email protected] email address or +86-571-81602497 phone number.
